I feel that veg is a necessary evil, but I cannot abide fruit, especially bananas. The smell, the ickyness - they should be aboliterated from the face of the planet. Unfortunately it appears that I'm the only one of this opinion.

LOL!! You're right about serving vegans, btw. I have many friends who are and it's a right bloody pain in the arse having to come up with a suitable menu. To hell with 'em -- no more invites :)

Personally - I love veggies, as long as they're not BOILED! I'll take grilled (warm but crisp, lots of seasoning), saute'd in garlic & olive oil, cold in salads, with dip, but never ever boiled to mush. Yuk.
And down with beets (ewww) and brussel sprouts -- which are stinky.
