Sorry, but I have not heard ANY of them!!!
Our list is up if you want to stop by and have a look see...

What a great list! And no, I haven't heard of all of those!

I haven't heard any of these either! Happy TT.

Wylie Kinson

Hey - I know 5 of them!
And in response to your Castro correction - here's what I responded with:

Nicholas - you make me laugh!
You're probably correct (I wasn't born then, as you were *snicker*) but here's what Wikipedia says: (I'm cutting and pasting)
1976 - Fidel Castro becomes President of Cuba replacing Osvaldo Dorticós Torrado.

Not that Wiki is always correct, but I'm too lazy to Google and confirm/deny, so I'll just go along with what you say ;)

While I am only familiar with a handful, I like the poetry of this post. There's a story or two there, for sure.

BTW, is is TRUE what they say about Dixie?

I don't know nearly enough of those. I see some serious googling in my future. :-)

I confess with shame that I only know one is number two. My mom use to listen to it. Ouch. Hope you ae not offended by that remark. :o)
I am sure they are all good songs as you are a gentleman of fine taste.

Shauna Quirk

If I am not mistaken...the title of #3 is actually "Jeepers Creepers" if you are referring to the Louis Armstrong song. I have heard of less than half, but I am pretty sure about number 3. Let me know if I'm right!

Hi Shauna -- You're right and you're not. "Jeepers Creepers" (1939) by Harry Warren and Johnny Mercer did contain the line 'Where'd You Get Those Eyes?' but thirteen years before that, Walter Donaldson had written a song with that as its title, and that was the on on my list.

Di about "Why do fools fall in love?" or "How many roads must a man walk down?" or "Where have all the flowers gone?" or "Where do the Children play?" or from one of MY favorites, "Why can't he be you?"

I have no answers...only more questions. I think this is the theme of my day today.

Heard of all of, yes I have! Heard all of, I don't think so.

Now, tell me that you know the song 'Detachable Penis' and I shall be astounded!

:: chuckle ::
Haven't heard of any of them. I'm hopeless.

New TTer, stopping by to say hello.

Your post leaves me scratching my head...

I came by to let you know I posted the answers from my TT13: "Have You Ever?" It's up at

I've heard of most of these. Is it age? Love Am I blue.

There's also the old question posed by, I think, Lonnie Donnegan: Does your chewing lose its flavor on the bedpost overnight?
