Now this was quite interesting. Thanks for the info. I always learn something from your Thursday Thirteens.

I have no idea what I am going to do for Thursday 13 this week. Or if I am going to even do one.

I did the bookshelf meme. I enjoyed that . Thanks by the way for telling me more about the books I was interested in. Much appreciated. :o)

I think that 1. 4. and 11. would have sounded better using their first names. Cool idea for a TT, hubby really loves the Book of Lists as well we usually pick up the newest editions when they come out. Cheers!

Very interesting. Thanks for sharing.

Very neat list.

The Gal Herself

James Paul McCartney is my favorite Beatle. (If your first name is Michael, why would you go by "Sylvester?" Just another one of life's imponderables, I guess.)

I didn't know most of those! Happy TT!

Some of those I knew....I didn't know about Sylvester though.

Although I have The Book of Lists 3, I had forgotten about some of these. Thanks for reminding me... I eat up trivia like this!

Interesting. I didn't realize most of those folks used their middle names.

Yeah, somehow Charles Redford really doesn't cut it now, does it?

Thanks for the great list. Learn something new every day!
Was curious about other lists that might be in "The Book of Lists 3", so followed link to Amazon to shop. Interesting price range for the book - $0.01- $119.88 - all used books, the most expensive being called collector's edition (hard cover). Think I will stick with the economy version for now! Believe they probably read the same.

Great List. Thank for the info.

Very interesting!

Great TT! The only one I really knew for sure was Redford's!
thanks for stopping by mine too!

Elle Fredrix

Interesting! I knew a few of these, but certainly not all.

Thanks for stopping by my TT!

I didn't know any of those; cool list. I prefer my middle name too.

Very interesting! We don't use middle names over here. I have 3 birth names, but I don't like them very much.
My TT teaches a geography (and a bit of history) lesson of The Netherlands.

My Great Aunt hated her first name: "Catherine" and went by her middle name "Norma" instead. ...Go figure.

Great list!

Wow! VERY interesting! I never knew any of those people were going by their middle names....
