I know what you mean. I spent tree days going through boxes in closets, draws and even I found boxes upstairs in my garage with reciepts dating back to 1982. It was quite a shock to see what we payed for things back then and what we are paying for things today. Every thing has tripled. Especially my mortgage.

The Nononsense

I know what you mean. I keep wayy too many bills and letters.

Titania

In reference to Dr. Who and your cabinet I had quite a giggle. I think we all have one of those bottomless drawers. My husband and I periodically break down and go through it. Amazed at all the crap hiding in there.Paperless society? Good thought but as far as I can see we are a long way from that. Especially my husbands workplace. I want to have stock in whatever paper company they buy from!

Erin the Innocent

Between all the paper and other treasures ... going through drawers and cabinets was quite interesting when I was packing. I had to be careful to not have too many 'oooh look what I found' moments, or I'd never get the job done!

I can't see society ever truly becoming a paperless society. There are too many of us who like the sensations of holding paper and pen.

I could stand becoming a bill-less society though *s*

Frigga

I've noticed the same thing about my desk drawers. How can 2 drawers of papers on the inside become a stack larger than the desk once pulled out?

I wanted to stop by and let you know I posted the results of last weeks 13 Q's about Jury Duty - it's up at http://anyapples.blogspot.com/
