I really enjoyed these lists Nicholas, thanks for highlighting them. I've seen most of the films on them...not many of the non-English language ones...I'm going to re-red this list and respond with a similar list on my blog in a few days. I'm like you...I get ideas from other blogs, hey it's fun and means that we inspire each other right?

I'll be back...

Tilly Greene

I started to go through the list last week and can't find it now...I'm going to have to do it again though because this is a good list to take to the video shop for help :-) Rented another good one on Wednesday, Chaos, some seriously good twists in that one.

I have only one word for you: Juno.
Seriously, rent it and watch it. I know we have a completely different taste not only in movies, but in pretty much everything. But even if you never follow one of my recommendations (which I would totally understand), do it this one time.
[And if you come back and tell me you didn't like it, I will throw my hands up in despair and just shut up for good. Promised.] ;)

It looks like I've only seen 47 out of this list, but then I was conservative because there are some movies that I'm not certain I've seen which I haven't counted. I should have looked at your first post so I could give you a total... I'm off to count the 1st 100 now.

I've seen 84, which surprises me because for the past 7 years I haven't been much into movies. I'm glad to see you've seen Nosferatu. Seriously, Max Schreck is the scariest vampire ever. And I totally loved Lock Stock and Two Smokin Barrels which I saw last year. One movie I really have to recommend is Heat. We own it, we like it so much. Pacino and DeNiro are intense, playing cat and mouse with each other. It's a free HBO/Cinemax weekend here so I'm watching 300 right now, but I'm just kinda not impressed except with the cinematography.

I've only seen 40 of those films. I watched Juno at the cinema but felt that it was too contrived, and I don't know if you'd like it, but I'd be interesting in knowing your reaction after seeing it.

You just hadda go and do the other 150! And like the little lemming that I am, I just hadda follow suit. Made a coupla comments on a coupla choices on my list, too.

Serious proof that I am not a movie person! Out of both parts of the list, I just barely have seen more than 20 of those movies...sadly, most of those were in the second half of the list...I think my grand total is 22.

I've seen 50. Most of them are ones you haven't seen, but we've seen a few of the same. I may have seen some of the foreign and not recognized the names.

I am a list junkie. I love this post - too bad I haven't seen nearly as many as you have!
