There seems to be no low corporations will sink to.

Literally.

:(

No doubt that no one hates smoking quite like an ex-smoker.

Every day, I miss cigarettes just as much as I detest them. I gave it up & went on to healthy living, but will never be completely free...of course, I started smoking when I was 12 years old.

Kids make the best target, indeed. Really, all I wanted was to look cool. I suppose I was finally able to quit at age 33 because I had stopped caring about that & was finally happy in being uncool.

"Merchants of Death" is accurate & corporations like tobacco companies are evil - no doubt about that whatsoever.

Although, the worst part to me is...Africa has enough problems without someone going in there & finding another way to kill the local population...just to make a buck.

Great post, by the way. Cheers. :)

I'm shocked... shocked I tell you... I have never heard of such an awful thing - that would be like convincing children that water wasn't good for them but caffeine laden, high sugar fuzzy water will improve their life. (Of course it won't give you diabetes- pfft, what are you thinking??) ;)

Great post - of course!

I enjoyed your impassioned post. And it's so typical that tobacco pedlers would make it easier for children to access their filthy wares.

Lookin at that plate of cigarattes makes me feel sick lol. I hate smoking. Thank god my partner quit too. Well done to you for quitting :)

I cant beleive these companies are so desprate. They should up to age to buying cigarettes to at least 18 i think instead of 16. people just dont look their age these days!

Huge corporations like this bow to only one god, and that is the almighty dollar (or pound, I suppose). My disgust for them is enough to make me want to be religious, because I would like to think of these people suffering eternity in hell, after the hell that they are quite happy to inflict upon children here on Earth.
