I think a lot of it is all an act, but I do agree with you those peaple on those shows are pathetic. I think the last time I cryed was seven years ago. Tears don't come very easy for me. Does that make me a horrible person?

The trouble with me I get tongue-tied when I get upset, but then when I fine the pleasure of saying things I want to say I go over board and then remorse takes over.

Nicholas, I appreciate your rant, but seriously, I'm shaking my head over the fact that you watch Project Runway...
I did not see that one coming!

They throw fits on those reality shows on purpose. And the editors leave it in because the viewers get all bent out of shape about it. It elicits emotion from the viewers... even if it's only anger and disgust. I hate teevee mostly, especially the reality shows. The things they will do to suck a viewer in...

Yes...I think lame crying over stupid things dilutes the meaning of and cleansing action of REAL crying.

Every time I cry and end up eventually looking in the mirror, I think, "I'll bet Angelina Jolie looks MUCH prettier when SHE cries!"

I get your point, but I remember being in music college eight years ago and noticing that nearly everyone in my class had wept for some reason during the course. I'd thought it silly and melodramatic until I messed up in one of my performance exams and became so frustrated and upset that I shed a few tears. Of course, I didn't want to make a show of it and rushed to the toilets for privacy.
