« Warning: Sour Grapes May Make You Bitter | Main | Thursday Thirteen #71 »

November 11, 2008

I am with you all the way on this one. Conservatives give me major heartburn and a few other things that I am too much of a lady to put down into words. I think I would not be able to bear reading anything from someone so ignorant and arrogant. Both go hand in hand actually.
By the way I voted for Obama! Woo hoo!!!! :o)

Until it happens to them, Brit.

Then it changes.

How sad that anger & contempt is all they have.

Love is much better.

And a whole lot more fun, too!

Yet another reminder that there's no cure for stupidity. Don't you wish there was?

I keep reading reports about Ike survivors who are camped out in their garages because even though their houses were flooded, they don't qualify for aid because they're in neighborhoods deemed "safe."

The Bumbles

The problem I have is with the sweeping generalizations. Everyone has a right to their opinion, but to lump people into 1 category is narrow minded and lazy. That post you came across was pathetic, but here's hoping not even all right wing conservatives are such idiots!

i think i sense some fury from you too:)
being a new yorker. i've learned one thing. nothign will ever please anyone. there is always somethign to complain about, always.

I'm a right wing conservative and I don't support comments made like that of the blog you are referring to. However, you seem very quick to lump us all together when you are chiding that blog writer for doing the same thing. Sadly, there were people who wasted away the money that was given to them by the government instead of providing for their families. I, for one, get disgusted with people who want to take a free ride off the taxpayers money. But maybe(since we are randomly lumping people together) it's just us "right winged conservatives" that believe in responsibility and character.

What I get tired of is people who complain about individuals 'wasting' $1,000 of government aid, or getting free (toxic) housing for awhile, but are perfectly ok with Halliburton et. al. WASTING BILLIONS of taxpayer dollars. You cannot convince me that the job they are doing could not be done more honorably, more cheaply, and better.

Desiree - Mother Musings

Nicely stated. I agree with you completely on this. It's ridiculous how pitifully the whole sad situation has been handled... even years later. And then when there are people such as this that are very, very bitter, angry, and full of hate. That is sad.

Yes, in every quarter of humanity you have users, abusers, and haters, it really doesn't matter what race, sex, or religion, it's just the way humans are wired. We are all flawed and it takes every ounce of our being to become better people every day.

Unfortunately, many people are just too lazy to do the work on them self.

Thanks for sharing,
