Wow, I haven't heard of any of these books except for the TH White one! So many books, so little time!

Jackie

Wow you are quite the reader!! Happy TT! :)

Carol @SheLives

I probably NEED the Bryson dictionary. But I WANT to read the Alan Alda book. (Love him!)

Clever T-13 as usual, Nick!

Lori

Happy TT my friend....

Alice Audrey

Bryson's Dictionary looks intriguing.

Janet F

I want to read The Eyes Of The Dragon. Thanks for the great list.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Carmen

Bill Bryson always makes me laugh out loud. So it's not good plane reading. ;)

Lazy Daisy

You are amazing and what eclectic taste you have. My daughter majored in Rheretic so I might just have to order the first book. Thanks for the descriptions and trivia fact about Star Trek.

samulli

I have read only two of those: the King and the TH White (but can't remember much of the latter). But there are actually a couple that sound interesting, even though they are not my usual genre: ok, Bill Bryson is one of my favorite authors, but that one seems a bit different from his usual fare. And even though I rarely read biographies the ones of Alan Alda and Richard Attenborough do sound intriguing.
Honestly, as if my wishlist wasn't long enough already.... *sigh* ;)

Sue

I always get some great ideas for reading on your TT's! It makes me feel like I'm not reading enough though. I've got to get on that.

Thanks for the list. Happy TT!

Matthew James Didier

This time, only two for me... one being The Making of Star Trek... and without it, I would never have known about "The Great Bird of the Universe".

PopArtDiva

I think I'd like to read that Alan Alda book.

What bugs me is how I missed the Stephen King - thought I'd read everything from him (Bachman included).

I went traditional and retro posting 13 Pieces of Vintage Valentine's Art - oh, and some of my pop art heart art too!

Janet

I don't think I even knew about that King book...definitely going to check it out, thanks!

And Alan Alda's biography was the one book my Dad finished reading...he was a notoriously slow reader, but he really liked Alan Alda, loved Mash, etc. Miss him...

ScrapbookinGal

Great TT Idea! Thanks for the interesting list. Happy Valentine's Day!

Thorne

Hey Nicholas! hehe I just love it when you include Steve. Of course I've read "Eyes" and the OaFK, and of the others here, I simply MUST add the Alan Alda to my TBR list!
TT#26- A Lil Too Straight?

Great list Nicholas! I read a couple of Margaret Truman books whilst we were in D.C over Christmas, her books are set there of course so it was quite interesting...although her style of writing is quite old-fashioned. As the daughter of a President, she does have a lot of insight in to what goes on - or did then- in Washington; for which her books are worth reading alone.

Alan Alda is a great writer/ storyteller as well as actor- I've read his too! I haven't read the Bill Bryson 'Troublesome Words' though...must look for that one. I'm sure I'd find it very useful.

happy T13 and thanks for visiting mine!
Bella :)

...and thank you for pointing me in the right direction for the new T13!....I'd never have found it otherwise, I need a road map to get just about anywhere!...

Hi Niiko! Only read the Alan Alda book. Loved it. Cree

tommie

That is quite the list! Thanks for visiting my T13.

Rikki

I have to check out the Alan Alda book. I love Bill Bryson but haven't read that one. Thanks for visiting my TT.

Lori

The troublesome word dictionary sounds like something I need. Nice list.

Carrie

Interesting list! I just added both autobiographies to my goodreads "to-read" list.

storyteller

Kewl list ... I've read the Alan Alda book, Stephen King's and Edward DeBono's! I see you're up to your old tricks ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
