I don’t know about you but I find this story I found at the BBC website rather sad. We’ve all heard of little girls who want to dress up to look like their mothers. Okay, nothing wrong with that. Even not so little girls do it. But where I can’t help but think it’s a bit creepy is when mothers try to look like their daughters. For what reason I can not say, one often sees mothers and daughters like that appearing in televised court shows, though I don’t know if there is any connection. Anyway, I watch this couple and read he accompanying text and I wonder if I am right when I sense more than a little uneasiness in the daughter’s reactions. The mother seems happy, and if she is then good luck to her. But…

Interesting. Reading the article, and just looking at the picture, I think the mom has issues...she does not want to age. I don't think there's anything wrong with the mom's clothes, though. A bit young, but not too sexy. Reading the article, though, I suspect there is much worse out there in her closet.

Ew... that can't be healthy. I think that the mother needs to learn a bit of acceptance in regard to aging. I can definitely understand acting/looking/dressing just a bit younger than one's age, but there's a graceful way to go about that & then there's a completely deranged & dysfunctional way that makes people squirm.

I think the mother actually looks better than the daughter! If she changed her clothes and hair colour, she'd look fantastic.

Hola, Brit!
With you on this one. Sad and creepy.
Us oldies have earned our wrinkles. We should wear them with pride.
