Tina in Houston

The one about topless sunbathing was funny. When I informed Mom that Al and I had spent our honeymoon near a nudist resort in Jamaica she asked me if it bothered me for Al to be looking at the naked women. I just laughed. Right!

Alice Audrey

Pft! Some people have no brains.

Ann Bruce

Funny as hell, but also sad as hell there's such stupidity out there.

People always find reason to complained, and the pregnant woman was way beyond stupidest among stupid!!!

Those wacky, gravy-slurping tourists. They never fail to amuse.

I've been to the beach here in France a few times, which as you know, is top-optional. Of course, I'm a prude American, so I wear mine, but when I look around & see what else out there, I sure don't worry about my husband seeing them.

In fact, I encourage it - it only makes me look better, since it's usually the ones who shouldn't go topless that do. ;)

Thomma Lyn

Oh my goodness! Absolutely hilarious. And amazing, too, how goofy -- and downright dumb -- people can be!

Working in hospitality industry myself I totally believe this. It sometimes feels like people leave their brains at home when ther go on a trip.

I always knew you couldn't get pregnant in a twin bed. Hahahaha!
Happy TT, Nicholas! I'm up with Recycled Art Mosaic Materials

LOL! What??! Seriously?!! Some of these really just boggles my mind...

Head: meet desk.
The degree of idiocy of some people never fails to boggle my mind.

This one, though, is really funny:
"I was bitten by a mosquito - no-one said they could bite."

Because as a matter of fact they don't. Bite, that is. It might be news to some people but mosquitoes actually don't have teeth. ^.^

Lol! I love these. People can be so funny - especially when they're not trying to be. Thanks for the laugh and happy Thursday!

Great list and it just proves that there is no pleasing some in the sea, who would have thought there would be such disgusting creatures in the water?

Susan Helene Gottfried

Scary, huh? I've met some of the people who'd be apt to make these statements lately. I am very fearful of what the future holds for all of us.

The beach was too sandy...hhhmm.

Great list.

Brenda ND

Ha! Who knew mosquitoes bite? Happy TT!

And people wonder why tourists are courted but dreaded at the same time, lol. Too darn funny - thank you. My favorite was the woman who blamed the hotel for her pregnancy - did she sue??? Hehehe.

I got a real Lava Lamp for a gift so I was inspired to post "13 Fads from my youth - junk I wish I still had" today.

Happy TT - I'm still chuckling.

Sarah Burkett

I read the first one and couldn't get to the others for the eye-rolling, XD.
Stupid people should not be allowed to travel!!

I wish my husband's grandmother was alive. I would have used # 11. She wasn't too thrilled when I got pregnant with my 3rd. (You should have seen her face when I told her I was preggers with my 4th-Priceless) If only I could explain that it wasn't our fault. It was that darn queen size bed.

2, 7 & 12 really made me laugh!

On a limb with Claudia

GD Americans! Always get the great deals.... ;) I laughed out loud to this. Very funny - thanks my dear for the chortle!

Hey did you ever see that the Fey was published? It has your voice in it for a couple characters - Sean (MI5) in particular. Email me and I'll send you one

As I work with the public in a technical/customer support position, I'm not particularly surprised by this list but I am saddened.
It was funny though!

Pamela Kramer

Those are funny! Now I have to go read the 50 things about you.

I was done at "the beach was too sandy" but just had to keep reading. It makes me feel loads better about the things I hear every day from customers. *headshake*

Oh dear Lord. “No-one told us there would be fish in the sea. The children were startled."

Haven't they ever heard the phrase "There are always more fish in the sea?"

Thank you for a good giggle.

Julia Smith

The 'do not disturb' one pulled a guffaw right out of me.

Matthew James Didier

I saw that article! Brilliant... or, not so brilliant... I liked the "not proper biscuits" one that was the headliner... but the hairdressers easily made the top-one-per-cent of "DEAR GOD! THE STUPID!!! IT BURNS!!!" list.

That's a hilarious list.

I once overheard a (very) little boy asking his daddy if the elephant at the zoo was a boy or a girl. It was a boy, and it was peeing, and its penis almost touched the ground. Inadequate indeed!

I'll confess to being a bit startled the first time I was snorkeling and saw a big fish right in front of me. I was looking for them, yes, but there it is.

Maggie's Mind

Hehehehe, that's just too funny. Sadly, some folks really do come up with complaints like that. Scary. Made for a fun list, though! :)

So I guess it's not just stupid Americans out there in the land of tourists huh?

Devilish Southern Belle

Haha! I don't know whether to laugh or cry at their stupidity!

Thanks so much for stopping by my TT earlier :)

I have a friend who didn't like Paris because they don't serve Coke with ice. My response? Drink the wine, stupid. You are in Paris!

Cindy Swanson

These are CLASSIC, Nicholas! Loved "the beach was too sandy" and blaming the single bed for the pregnancy. People are funny.
